DealBeam does not collect or store any customer data from your Shopify store. We only access the discount and product data needed to display strikethrough prices on your storefront.
DealBeam ("the App") provides automatic strikethrough price display for products eligible for Shopify automatic discounts ("the Service") to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.
Information the App Collects
When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:
Shop name and contact email — used only for support and emergency contact purposes.
Discount data — including discount type, percentage or amount, and eligibility rules. Used solely to calculate and display discounted prices on your storefront.
Product data — including product titles, prices, and variants. Used solely to calculate and write discounted prices to product metafields.
The App does not have access to your customers' personal data, order history, or payment information.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide and operate the Service — specifically, to read your active automatic discounts, calculate discounted prices, and write those prices to your product metafields so they can be displayed on your storefront.
Your shop name and contact email are stored in our database and are used only for support and emergency contact purposes. Discount and product data is processed in real time and is not retained beyond what is necessary to operate the Service.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
To comply with applicable laws and regulations.
To respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information.
To protect our rights or the rights of others.
Data Retention
We retain your shop name and contact email for as long as your account is active. When you uninstall the App, you may request deletion of your data by contacting us at the address below. Note that product metafields written by DealBeam will persist in your Shopify store after uninstall; you can remove these manually through your Shopify admin.

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. To exercise this right, please contact us using the information below.
Please note that your information may be transferred outside of Europe, including to the United States, in order to provide the Service.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal and regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
